Description:
This truly unique shawl is handwoven with hand dyed mercerized cotton for warp and mercerized cotton for weft. It is woven in blues, greens, and magenta. It has two tablet bands woven in a technique call the Snartemo technique. These striking bands make a very attractive accent to the shawl and make it stand out. It is finished with a hand twisted fringe where beads were added. The shawl would be a wonderful addition to an outfit.
Care:
Handwash in cold water with a mild soap. Lay flat to dry. Press while still damp to bring out the luster of the silk.
